I Promise I Wasn't Drinking!

A few weeks ago, I did this to my car.

See all that pretty white paint. It's not supposed to be there. Yikes!

I bet you are wondering how I did it. Well, I scraped my car on the side of my garage. The garage was unharmed, but the car was not. Everyone immediately notices the damage and asks what happened. It is a tiny bit embarrassing to admit the truth, and I have gotten more than one eye roll when I tell people I hit my garage. I tried coming up with a few fun stories like a large white bird flew out of the sky and smacked into my car or my dogs got bored and decided to do an art project.

I am eventually going to get it fixed (probably within the next few weeks), but until then I will have fun inventing imaginative stories about how my car got damaged. Let me know if you think of any good ones! :)

accidents happen, thats why its called an accident. I always have the fear of hitting my garage when parking in my garage.

Oh no! I totally did that in high school and scraped off paint on my wheel well. It was so sad, but oh well! I'm glad you are okay, and who hasn't done something silly while driving?!

Oh, I feel for you! I have smashed into a car that was parked behind me (in my defense, it wasn't supposed to be there!) and have knocked the metal track for the garage door off because I hit it once, too! And I wasn't drinking either time, ha ha! I hope that you can get it fixed soon!

oh geez. this makes me laugh because i only drive my car OUT of the garage- im too nervous to drive it back in. my husband always wonders why i park in the driveway when he spent a very long, painful weekend clearing my side of the garage- but i can't break it to him that i'm a spaz and will likely drive INTO the garage, literally.. :) i feel your pain, my dear..

Oh girl, that's sad and funny at the same time. Reminds me of the time my friend accidentally scraped one of those yellow poles in a parking garage and now her dark blue Honda has pretty yellow lines on it. :)

I hit a mailbox once. On the driver's side of the car. Yea, try explaining that one. So I definitely feel your pain!
