Creative Wrapping

As most of you know, I love wrapping gifts and making them extra special. Today on my lunch break, I ran out to buy a gift for my nephew who has a birthday this week. His gift is an odd size, so I had to opt for a gift bag. The gift bag was $4.00, but I happened to spy a reusable tote (decorated with Buzz and Woody from Toy Story) for $1.99. I opted for the cheaper and more useful (and cuter) tote bag.

I'm not sure why I have never considered (until today) using a reusable tote bag instead of a gift bag. There are some super cute reusable totes out there that are very reasonably priced, and who couldn't use a cute tote!

Toys R Us has some really cute totes for the kids in your life for around $1.50. I'm not a kid, but I wouldn't mind receiving a gift wrapped in the pink elephant bag. :)

I can't find a picture, but Michael's also carries some really cute reusable totes for under $2.oo. I purchased a brown one with colorful dots. It is super cute and would be a great gift bag.

Just remember the next time you need to wrap a gift quickly, and you still want it to be cute-Check your local store for a cute reusable tote! Where have you spotted some cute reusable totes?

This is a great idea! Sometimes they have cute reusable totes in the $1 aisle at Target.

Also, for an adult gift, TJ Maxx has some cute reusable totes (unsure of the price).

I also use this and love it! I mean why spend a ton on a gift bag when you can give someone a cute reusable bag?

I started doing this at Christmas, was a great idea, actually ended up getting some of them back since the family already had 15 of them from us! They are great for the beach or the "Y" trips too! Each kid has their own and they pack their own bags. Love it!

Fabulous idea!! I picked up an adorable purple woven beach bag for $5 at Walmart this week and filled it with all kinds of beach / picnic goodies for a b'day party. Stuffed it with coordinating tissue and it just makes me happy to know she'll use it over again and not throw away a gift bag.
