Trader Joe Advice Needed! (And A Few Cute Coats)

Athens, GA has a new grocery story by the name of Trader Joe's! Yipppeee! Last week was the first time I have ever set foot into a Trader Joe's, and I have to admit that I am in love.

So far I have tried the wine, the Mandarin Chinese Chicken (frozen meal), and the pumpkin bread mix. All were outstanding!

Now, I need your help!!! What are your favorite Trader Joe's items? Tell me your must haves, so I can try them too!!!

P.S.-I can't let the weekend pass by without telling you about the great prices on cute coats at Old Navy! I'm wearing this precious green coat today that I purchased for only $29!

They also have several darling ruffle coats at 50% off. I'm thinking about ordering this one! It's currently prices at $49.50.

Make sure you check them out if you are in need of some winter wear! Have a great weekend!

Try the mini tacos in the freezer section (a good quick meal). They come in beef or chicken. Their pot stickers are rather good, Their french onion soup is another good quick meal. The spinach artichoke dip (also in the freezer section). Have fun exploring. These are just a few of the items that I like.

Love the green coat! I bought one exactly like that a few years ago from JP Penny's if you can believe it!

As for TJ's - I'm soo jealous. I used to live about 200 ft from one and now there's none to be found...sigh. Definitely check out their fruit leathers. I also love their soups in the refrigerated section. I also love their salad dressing. Oh soo jealous! Enjoy!

Well, TJ's items are regional, so you may not find all of the items people post... but it's worth a shot!

-frozen potato medley
-vanilla/almond granola in blue box (use with yogurt... yum!)
-19 cent bananas regular price!
-cilantro/jalapeno hummus
-sesame sticks
-chocolate ganache torte (frozen and amazzzzzing!)
-french green beans (frozen)

Those are off the top of my head. I used to love their bruschetta & guacamole, but that's when I lived in Cali (where TJ's is from) and they sold all those items. I recently moved to the midwest and have fewer to choose from.

Love TJ's!!!

love, love, love TJs. It's the only grocery store I go to. the Chinese chicken you picked out is one of their best items! So, here's a few of my fav items. cured turkey bacon, not sure what brand it is, whole wheat slims-round small sandwich rolls, only 100 cals each, trail mix-any and all of them, dried mangos, dried chili-spiced mangos, TJ's brand fat free greek yogurt, TJ's brand fig bars-yummy, TJ's brand fiber cereal-80 cals for 2/3c, the bags of three peppers, all different colors, sliced sweet potato fries, frozen alaskan salmon, dark choc cherries (or just about anything actually), triple ginger snaps, cat cookies, frozen cooked shrimp (get this every week and make for salads, low-fat cheese sticks, whole wheat pizza dough (99 cents), they have a four pack of indiv chicken breasts I pick up usually, canned crab-make crab sandwiches on the slims about twice a week... I could go on and on and on. have fun!! you're going to love it!

I'm so excited to go to Trader Joe's when I come home!! I've never been in one, but I was once brought an enormous block of Ghirardelli chocolate from one. It was, of course, delicious, so I'd have to recommend that! I hear that all their mixes are great though.

Cute coats too! I need more warm clothes...

Last week was my 1st trip into Trader Joe's, too...I LOVE all my purchases. But here are a few favs...edemame (already shelled!), organic vanilla yogurt, sweet potato chips and hummus.

I've also had my eyes on the 2nd Old Navy coat you posted...but I love the dark blue one. Hope it gets cheaper SOON!

trader joe's is the best!!!

if they still have it, look for the "pancake wine." the label has a picture of a pancake with arms, legs and a face running away from a man! it is a mix of whites, and so good!

also, I just tried their holiday joe joes...chocolate covered oreos with candy cane crumbles on one side! amazing!
