However, there are more important things to concentrate on other than football. For example, what I am going to wear to the game is definitely more important! :) Your game day outfit is definitely something that can not be taken lightly in the South! :)
The most proper attire for a female at a UGA football game is some sort of sun dress. Finding the perfect game day attire is not always the easiest for me. I have very high standards. The outfit must be comfortable and figure flattering. Oh, and the appropriate color-red, black, white or a combination of any of the three.
I usually go with black. Black dresses are usually the easiest to find and the most versatile. This year all of my possible game day dresses came from Target. They had a great selection of cute dresses appropriate for game day or just a regular day.
This is my very first choice. I purchased it in black from my local Target. It is actually a lot cuter in person than it appears in the picture.
The next two dress are dresses I ordered from Target online. Both are in black. They are from the Merona Fits Solution collection. This is a collection of dresses, skirts, tops, and pants that have built in shape wear. I only have two of the dress, but the shape wear really does work and is also comfortable. These must have been created and sewn by God himself. They are wonderful! You can find them here.
Just today I spotted this precious little red dress on Target on-line. I am contemplating adding it to my game day attire wardrobe too. What do you think?

I went to Target today, came home and told Rob if we were Georgia or NC State fans, I could have an entire game day wardrobe! Everything was red, black and white :) Love that second dress! They had super cute dark red denim skirt (weird, I know)- I really think I may get it and pretend to really love GA :)

I have to show this to my husband tonight. He was so excited to take me to the Iowa/Iowa State game back in 2006, so I oculd see the huge rivalry and a great event. The week before the game I laid out 3 different outfits and asked for his opinion. He took one look at my dress combinations and said, "Um, Babe, we're going to a football game . . . jeans and a t-shirt would be much more appropriate."
And this is why I love the SEC and the Dawgs!!! The Yankees (bless thier hearts) just don't get it. ;)

I love Target online for dresses! I still cannot get over that people dress for all Southern tailgates. I just love it!!
I don't know about you, but I'm not really a "red" color wearer unless it's for special occasions like Xmas or Vday. However, I would def wear red if it was one of my school colors. Great way to wear a color you wouldn't normally wear if you're like me=) I think those dress are very cute and classic.
I have not been to Target recently, but people keep mentioning it to me. Enough that I probably should go have a look, good choices!

I am loving Target's clothes these last few months! Today, I had to tear myself away from a dress that I definitely did not need but was way gorgeous!
