Okay, I have to tell you the story of my creepy neighbor. The other night I was walking in my neighborhood for a little exercise. As I was walking, I saw one of my neighbors. He is not a close proximity neighbor. He probably lives a good 10 houses away. I stopped to talk to him and pet his precious little dog. We exchanged pleasantries, and I was about to walk away when he asked, "How do you like your Wii?". I know I had a confused look on my face because I was wondering how in the heck this guy knows I have a Wii. He quickly answered my confused look with, "When I walk at night I see you and your husband playing the Wii." I remained calm. I told him I really like the Wii especially Wii Fit, and then I went home to tell my husband we must purchase blinds for the windows immediately!
I do admit that when I walk at night, I do see people in their homes. I don't try to see into houses. I am just usually walking and looking around at the beautiful scenery when I happen to get a glimpse at a window. I always think it is neat to see people tucked away in their homes. It is almost like seeing a charming picture or a short clip from a movie. However, I would never, ever, ever tell someone I saw them. That is just creepy!
A little side note: The reason we don't have blinds yet is because we are saving up to get plantation shutters, but it looks like we may have to pick up some cheaper, temporary blinds from Lowes. If that guy saw us playing the Wii there is no telling what else he has seen. I wonder if he got a show the night Michael and I decided to learn to moon walk. That's a story I will save for another day!
Another little side note: Sorry I have been a little MIA this week. I have had two major work events that have consumed all of my time. By the way, both events went great and were fun! Yea! I am so glad they are over! I will be back to normal next week!

Okay I sometimes look into my neighbor's windows but I would NEVER bring that up in a conversation like that!! How creepy!
Yikes. Yeah its time for some kind of window treatment.
Haha - too funny! I know I sometimes look into houses when I'm walking too, but I would never tell them either!!!
I can't wait for the moon walk story!!
Friends of ours used tissue paper until they got their blinds!
I agree with you guys... I would never ACTUALLY mention to anyone I saw them in their window!
Looking forward to that moon walk story! ha!
OMG! LOL...You need blinds and your neighbor needs a filter between his brain and his mouth! Kudos for remaining calm :)
Haha Lol. Definietly time for some blinds! How creepy!
I caught our creepy neighbor from across the street taunting our dogs because he thought no one was home! We also have this creepy kid that like to roam the neighborhood at like 4 am. We have window shears because my mom is going through menopause and went crazy and threw all the blinds away!
eew! even if he did see you, he should not have mentioned it! what a creepo!
EWWWW CREEEPO!?! It sounds like he wanted to weird you out!? Why would he say that to you?!
Get.Blinds.Today. xoxo
CREEPY!! Blinds are a must ASAP!
ok that is creepy!! for sure!! but the moon walking story has to be told!! i am crackin up over that! :)
Creepy!
Just found your blog!
Creepy wierdo!
Who would admit that they actually looked through your windows? After walking by our house one night I realized that we had very little privacy with our last window coverings. We now have wood blinds!
OMG! You are too funny! Yes, definitely get some blinds but I love that you are planning to get plantation blinds! Love them!! We'll be patiently awaiting the moon walking story! :)
Ooh, yes you may glance in someone's house by accident, or without realising, but to comment on what you saw, that is odd, and creepy!
Omg HAHHA!! Wowww.
That's pretty ballsy.
creepy.
we have half plantation blinds on all our windows 'cept the bedrooms and bathrooms. well, the road that runs up next to our house (we have a corner lot) goes up at an angle and therefore at night you can see over the shutters and into our living room. i've always wondered how many people walk or drive by (and some of them not so pleasant) and see us watching TV.
Yikes! That's a little creepy.
I can't believe he said something, ha! But I can believe it, I blogged a while ago about a crazy story about our neighbor knowing all about us before we moved in! Definitely creepy :)! It's time for some interim blinds! :) And the moon walking night totally sounds like something Hubby and I would do, haha, sounds like a fun story!
Yes...either buy blinds or hang up sheets. This guy sounds super weird, not because he saw you but because he wanted to tell you that he did. XOXO
Those temporary paper blinds at Lowes and Home Depot work pretty well and are not expensive. That's what we did while saving up for plantation shutters.
